Meet Our Practitioners

Anne Rainville, MD, FACOG

Dr. Rainville is a highly trained, board certified OB/GYN specializing in women’s health and recognizes that a close partnership between doctor and patient is essential to exceptional healthcare. That is why she practices in a small private office setting so she may give you the time and attention that you deserve.

Dr. Rainville has been practicing in the Portland area for over 22 years and is very experienced in taking care of normal and complicated pregnancies, and she is also a highly trained and skilled surgeon.

Dr. Rainville is originally from Maine, and after completing her medical school training in Vermont and residency in Washington, DC, could not wait to come back! Dr. Rainville has special interests in fertility evaluation and treatment, minimally invasive surgery, urinary disorders, ultrasound services, adolescent gynecology and menopause. She is also the only OB/GYN in Maine trained in acupuncture.

Emily Scialabba CNM, MSN

Emily is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Women’s Wellness. She grew up in Massachusetts with dreams of living in Maine, where her family has vacationed for generations. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Bates College, followed by her midwifery training at Yale University School of Nursing. Emily is happy that her path has brought her to Women’s Wellness, where she enjoys working collaboratively with a wonderful team of practitioners. Her interests include health education and normalizing pregnancy and birth, in addition to providing comprehensive well woman care. Outside of her work with women, Emily loves spending time with her husband and their golden retriever, Casco, out on the water or in the mountains.

Kathy Clark, LPN

Kathy is the office nurse at Women’s Wellness. She attended Eastern Maine Community College. After moving to Southern Maine, Kathy worked at Maine Medical Center in Pediatrics and Maternity for several years. She has been working in an OB/GYN office since 1987. She has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of women’s health and enjoys working with women to educate them about their health and wellbeing.

Kathy has been a Certified CPR instructor for 20 years, keeping daycares, dental offices, and medical offices up to date on all the current recommendations from the American Heart Association. Kathy looks forward to helping you achieve your optimal wellbeing.

Katie Wood, LPN

Katie is an office nurse at Women’s Wellness. She entered the health care field right out of high school as a CNA , working  for 8 years with Alzheimer’s patients. It was then she decided to further her education and go onto nursing school. After graduation she continued to work at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center until making the switch to Women’s Wellness to work in obstetrics and gynecology, a true passion of hers. Katie loves healthcare because of the knowledge she obtains and the relationships she builds with patients and fellow co-workers. She looks forward to meeting you!

Elizabeth Goodie-Selwood LCSW

Elizabeth is a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering counseling and support to patients of Women’s Wellness.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Social Work from University of Maine followed by a Master’s degree from Grand Valley State University in 1990.

For 25 years Elizabeth has worked in a variety of professional settings with varied populations. She has a diverse background treating clients of all ages.

She welcomes clients who want support dealing with pregnancy and parenting, infertility, post-partum depression, grief, loss, anxiety, and adjustment issues.
